I know that I can often be a bit of an over explainer and that I’m often making things more detailed than they need to be, I hope that it won’t be a problem here tho.
I really like connecting with people who share similar interests and values. Albeit, many of today’s communities on trending Social Media have a lot of quantity > quality, AI, lots of distractions which are only there to get you to pay for something or similar reasons, and much more. They’re just kind of overwhelming for me tbh. Here I can actually see people who are genuine and actually care about what they say and do. It doesn’t need to be mainstream, it doesn’t need to have a lot of fancy animations and so on and so on, it’s just like a good forum where people can truly connect and learn from each other, it’s just so refreshing. Just like the internet was not that long ago. I’m so glad I found it, thanks to @darth / Linux Renaissance.
I’m still learning about Linux and I enjoy tinkering with my computer. I’m sure that here I’ll be able to learn much more. I’ve already learned a lot from Linux Renaissance’s YouTube channel, and I’m really grateful for it.
I’ve never used Social Media a lot, so sorry in advance if I don’t understand how basic Social Media works 
I mean, some of its functions.
So just to be clear I’m not really an advanced Linux user. I switched from Windows 11 to Linux about 4 months ago. Since then, I have distrohopped a bit too: Ubuntu (only ~5 days), Arch (failed attempt at installation), EndeavouOS, Arch, Artix, Devuan (right now). I’ve switched from Arch ones to Debian distros because of my needs, which are (1) I have other things to work on in my life besides my computer and I’m not the kind of person to be able to focus on many things at one so Arch based distros would be very distracting for me, (2) I really value the ability to be able to trust my OS. Trust in its security and it not breaking my configurations that often when I’m busy doing other things. And (3) Debian is the fundament of many of today’s most popular Linux distributions and so many things, I think, would work on it too (at least the tools which I need and are made for Kali, Debian also has them working).
I’m very open-minded, and I like checking out new things and so I’m not the type of person who would tell others what to do. Because I like Linux for the fact that it’s Open Source, free , and made for everyone and their special needs. The distros can be made just right for the needs of pretty much most of the users (if they’re willing to experiment a bit). Anyone can configure their Linux/GNU distro just as they like it, and that’s beautiful.
Some other things about me is that I can speak several languages: Polish (my first language), English, Russian, and right now I’m learning German, I’m also looking forward to learning Hebrew (and the Biblical Hebrew) in the future. I like learning about different cultures and especially their music (I mostly like Hebrew and Russian folk songs and their songs about their country). I like living a minimalistic life (it doesn’t only apply to my Operating System but to mostly everything 
), I like exercising (recently started doing Yoga), spending time outside (albeit I often have to kind of force it cuz I’d rather spend time configuring my computer or listening to music in my room ), and learning how things work (Cyberspace, Meteorology, Efficiency and Productivity, Linux, and other cultures). I’m studying the Bible and learning a bit of Koine Greek (the very basics tho) and later also, as I already said, Biblical Hebrew.
I hope it’s all not too long, but, yeah, that’s pretty much it :')
Btw, I already enjoy how all of this here is managed and the people here more than most of other communities I’ve recently seen/been on. I’m sure it’ll be a great experience being here.
