Will a Ai-slop and Rust free Linux kernel become a thing?

With the rise of AI and Rust in the Linux kernel and the division it create, will a fork that remove both could become a thing ? I find it concerning to see that ai slop is affecting soo many project including the Linux kernel who are becoming ai slop and removing older hardware support… And with Rust it seem forced by a outside source …

I think that an alternative already exists: linux libre kernel,it goes much deeper than no ai and removes every propritery blob.

I don’t think rust is an issue but random ai contributions that you can’t even tell what it does and that no one has read before, not even the “owner”, isn’t a good thing for open source projects, especially when ai instead of performing tests it does something else and removes it to pass the supposed tests(as i saw in a post and live stream).

Does it maybe depends on Linux distro? I use AI to review my code and what i learn about bash and Python. I myself see AI as new tool for development in every kind of activity if is security considered properly.
